First post of 2009

Hey kids!
I bet no one is even reading my blog but I don't care haha.
I hope you're all having a fantastic start to 2009. I know I am, I've only been out twice, haha. It's great. Relaxing.
It's so hot outside, I miss Winter terribly. Seriously, I much prefer sitting here with a blanket wrapped around me, shivering, drinking Hot Chocolates and having the heater on, to sitting here under the air conditioner getting cold then moving and getting hot and coming back.

My best friend slumbered the other day, for the first time these holidays. I missed her. Second time I've seen her since Christmas Eve. So it was great. Boring as always, but not boring at the same time. She was writing a blog on her myspace, while we were sitting here watching Camp Rock (she wasn't enjoying it, but i was hahahha) and she was writing about how bad life is sometimes and stuff, and it made me realise how hard last year must have been on her, with me, her best friend, not being able to leave the house.
It opened my eyes and made me realise some things.
Yesterday I didn't want to go out but I did anyway. And was gone for a couple of hours without panicking or anything. We went to my uncle's house (we're babysitting his son and he forgot socks so we went to get some) and i visited the kittens that were born in his shed, because i hadn't seen them yet. It is a random cat's kids, and the 3 babies are the most amazing kittens I have ever seen. And trust me, I have seen a lot of kittens in my life. These ones though, they were amazing. My uncle isn't a cat person at all, so he hasn't been looking after the cat. The poor thing was so dehydrated that i dont even think it had been feeding its kittens coz it had no milk in it itself. So we took the kittens in to the kitchen and gave them milk from a spoon, because thet were also just as dehydrated, if not more. It was 31 degrees yesterday, it was sooooo hot. Then we brought the mother cat some milk, and she drank so much, I was sooo sad I wanted to bring her and the babies home to babysit them and look after them until they were a bit older (they're a little over a month old).
The mother cat is called Nigga. We know this because the ownder had come around to the neighbourhood asking if they had seen her cat Nigga (yes it is a black cat) but at that stage they hadn't seen her. They don't know where she lives though so they can't tell her. But seriously, these kittens are the cutest little things ever. I have a favourite, and it loves me, it was snuggling up to me going to sleep, :').

Anyway, i should probably go now, almost dinner time.
:D

Until next time,
xxx
